What happens when I archive an asset?

When an asset is archived in Mitti, it becomes inactive across multiple features and workflows to prevent unintended use and keep records clean. Here’s what to expect:

If you've accidentally archived assets, you can always restore them via the web app.

Archive an asset

  1. Log in to the web app (opens in new tab).

  2. Select Assets in the sidebar or in More.

  3. Find the asset you want to archive.

  4. Click on the asset's right-hand side and select Archive. The Assets page with the Archive option open in the three-dot menu for an asset.

  5. In the pop-up window, click Archive.

Archive an asset hierarchy

Asset hierarchy requires the Premium Plan or Enterprise Plan.

  1. Log in to the web app (opens in new tab).

  2. Click Assets from the sidebar or in More.

  3. Find the asset hierarchy that you want to archive.

  4. Select the parent asset in the hierarchy. Selecting a parent asset also selects its active child assets.

  5. Click on the asset's right-hand side and select Archive.

  6. In the pop-up window, click Archive.

Click the three-dot menu next to a parent asset and select Archive to archive the asset hierarchy.

Archiving a parent asset also archives its active child assets. Child assets that are already archived aren’t changed.
